The Pack Strap Camera Mounts allow you to connect a standard 1/4-20 photographic mount to a wide range of backpacks. You can also connect our Micro Pro 2 and Micro 4th Axis Handle products that use the Scotty Makes Stuff Mini Rosette.
We were looking for a pack strap that was rigid as we needed a solid base to handle our Micro 4th axis. We tried out all the options available but found they moved around when we were testing them out. That's why we designed the Pack Strap Camera Mount!
They are designed to fit on most straps up to 50mm (2in) wide and 15mm (5/8ths) thick. They will even go all the way down to thin straps too. We've even squeezed a 75mm (3in) wide backpacking strap into it!
The 1/4-20 has two optional M3 x 8mm button head screws. These are screwed in on either side of the 1/4-20 screw using the supplied M2 Allen key. They are used if you have a camera that has the Arri mounting pins holes in its base.
The Mini Rosette is adjustable from left to right.
